1967 Corvette Convertible 427/400 HP Tri-Power Automatic w/AC
Presented by NICKEY with a Backwards "K"
This 1967 big-block Corvette convertible has much to recommend it to collectors of this highly desirable vintage. The last of the so-called “mid-year” Sting Rays, the 1967 Corvette was the ultimate expression of that model. 1967 was the second production year for the vaunted 427 engine, which had enjoyed instant acceptance by Corvette buyers. Capable of flowing 1000 cfm, the triple 2-barrel Holley setup in this car bumped peak horsepower from the single 4-barrel’s 390 to 400. A Powerglide automatic transmission easily handles the car’s torque and, combined with factory air conditioning, also contributes to its rarity. Add power steering, power brakes, and you have great Corvette motoring, top up or down.
The car's brilliant Elkhart Blue finish is complemented by a Teal Stinger stripe on the big-block hood, color-keyed Teal Blue soft top and interior, and Soft Ray tinted glass; a hard top is also included. The beautiful interior features a wood-rimmed three-spoke wheel, AM/FM radio, original-style clear floor mats and excellent fit and finish. Factory side exhaust and Rally wheels with Redline tires add to the car’s already muscular appearance, especially effective on the convertible body.
A body-off restored matching-numbers car with tank sticker documentation, this is truly the big-block ’67 convertible at its finest.
